Guji Shakiso Coffee: A Symphony of Flavors from Ethiopia’s Highlands

Guji Coffee is cultivated in the pristine highlands of the Guji Zone, located in the Oromia region of Southern Ethiopia. The Shanka area, known for its rich volcanic soil, high altitude (1,900–2,200 meters above sea level), and ideal climate, produces some of the most exquisite coffee beans in the world. This region’s unique terroir imparts a distinctive character to every bean.

Processing Method:

Our Guji Coffee is processed using the natural (dry) method, where the coffee cherries are sun-dried with the fruit intact. This method enhances the coffee’s fruity and floral notes, resulting in a rich, full-bodied cup with a distinctively Ethiopian character.

Flavor Profile:

Guji Coffee is celebrated for its vibrant and multi-layered flavor profile. Each sip reveals:

Floral Aromas: Delicate notes of jasmine and orange blossom.

Fruity Notes: Bright, juicy flavors of ripe berries, tropical fruits, and citrus.

Sweetness: A natural sweetness reminiscent of brown sugar and honey.

Complexity: A well-balanced cup with a smooth, wine-like acidity and a clean, lingering finish.

Why You Choose Guji Coffee?

Exceptional Quality: Grown at high altitudes, the beans mature slowly, developing a dense structure and complex flavors.

Single-Origin Excellence: Sourced directly from smallholder farmers in the Shanka area, ensuring traceability and premium quality.

Sustainable Practices: Produced using traditional, eco-friendly farming methods that protect the environment and support local communities.

Global Recognition: Renowned for its unique flavor profile and consistently high quality
