Harar - A bean in which We Excel in

Internationally known and recognized as Harar Trade Brand Name Many roasters are attracted to its fine and fruit flavor and are willing to pay a premium price for it. Quality Harrar coffees are notable for a fruity characteristic and a creamy body. The finest Harrar coffees have a distinct note of blueberry, though many other fruity and fruit-like aromatic flavors can occur, with medium acidity, full body and a distinctive mocha flavor. Its intensity means it is most commonly used in espresso blends, rather than single origin.


Home: Eastern highlands of Ethiopia.

Altitude: 2000 – 2750m (6500 – 9000ft) above sea level where the highest quality Arabica coffee is grown.

Processing:  Natural (sun-dried)

Characteristics: A long berry coffee  spicy and fragrantfamous for being hearty, with smoky, resiny tones that result in a fruity, rich, winy flavor that leaves you with a taste of real mocha. 

Physical Appearance: A heavy-bodied, medium to long pointed size and has a greenish to yellowish/golden color.
